This was a conversation that took place between me and a kindergarten student.
"Look Miss Smith! I have a new book bag! Does your son have a book bag? Do you have a son?"
"No."
"Why don't you have a son Miss Smith?"
"Because I'm not married."
"You're not married?!"
"No."
"So sad, so sad! You are so alone Miss Smith."
"Look Miss Smith! I have a new book bag! Does your son have a book bag? Do you have a son?"

"Because I'm not married."
